Question 1

How does a Vouchbit approval work?

Accepted Answer

A freelancer shares a file or link with a client through an approval request. The client opens the approval link and can review the work without creating an account, then either approves it or requests changes. A client can add an optional comment to either decision, and Vouchbit records the response against the submitted version.

Question 2

Does my client need an account?

Accepted Answer

No. Clients can open the review link, leave feedback, and choose Approve or Request changes without creating an account.

Question 3

Which files support pinned comments?

Accepted Answer

Saved JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, and PDF revisions support pinned comments. Direct image or PDF URLs can be annotated only after Vouchbit retrieves and saves them as fixed revisions; shared website, video, Canva, and Google Drive links support general feedback.

Question 4

What counts toward my three free approval requests each month?

Accepted Answer

Each approval request you create counts. The Free plan counts requests created during the current calendar month toward its three-request limit.

Question 5

Does resolving a comment approve the work?

Accepted Answer

No. Resolving a comment updates its thread. Approve and Request changes are separate final-decision actions.

Question 6

How many reviews are included?

Accepted Answer

Free includes three new approval requests per UTC calendar month. Pro is configured at $15 USD per month and removes that monthly request limit.

Question 7

What does an approval record include?

Accepted Answer

A decided record can expose the submitted work details, submitted version, and available SHA-256 file hash, along with the decision, decision timestamp, client name and email details, and client comment. It can also include available device metadata such as user agent, platform, and accepted language. The record is available through its token-bound record view and download.

Question 8

Who can view an approval record?

Accepted Answer

Workspace access is authenticated. Anyone with the approval’s token-bound public link may be able to view and download its decided record, so share that link carefully.

Question 9

How are approval email notifications handled?

Accepted Answer

Vouchbit records the status of approval-request and decision email notifications. A recorded accepted, failed, or unknown status describes the email transport outcome available to Vouchbit; it does not promise that a message reached or was read in the recipient’s inbox.

Question 10

What are the Free and Pro plans?

Accepted Answer

Free includes three new requests per UTC calendar month. Pro is configured at $15 USD per month and adds unlimited requests, PDF exports of decision records, and client decision history. Both plans can send review links and record decisions.

Question 11

Does Vouchbit send scheduled reminder emails?

Accepted Answer

No. Scheduled reminder emails are not currently supported. Vouchbit can record the status of the email notifications tied to approval activity, but it does not send recurring reminders for unanswered requests.

Question 12

Is Vouchbit a legal contract service?

Accepted Answer

No. Vouchbit provides business approval records for submitted work. It is not a legal contract service and is not a substitute for legal advice.
